Why Should I Use Firefox?

That headline makes it sound like I’m about to give you reasons to use Firefox. If you thought that, you are about to be disappointed. A lot of SEO people like Firefox because it caters to their needs. It adds more seo tools for them to use.

However, I have not seen even one website that I manage, own, or analyze for clients that shows where there are more firefox users than IE users visiting the site. Exactly the opposite. All of the sites have shown there are more IE users visiting.

While I applaud firefox for trying to make the seo community happy, until it attracts more regular users or consumers who might buy my services or my clients’ products and services, I will continue to focus on IE while making sure that the firefox contingency can still view the website the way I intended.

It is a myth that there are more firefox users than IE users. It’s a bigger myth to say there are enough regular users and consumers using firefox tio make it a higher priority than IE.

I hate microsoft, but not bad enough to ignore what consumers are using.
