Commenter Spam as an SEO Service?
I’ve sen websites where the owners claim they do SEO. One of the seo services they mention is automated blog commenting software or really cheap blog commenting services.
Just want to make one thing perfectly clear. Neither of those things are good seo services. If you visit a website offering this as an seo service, don’t buy into the hype.
When bloggers get comments like; “I really enjoy your blog post and will be back often”, or “Great Blog Post! I was thinking the same thing”, or “great blog! I bookmarked you and will visit to read more soon”, we know it’s spam and we mark it as spam or delete it.
That means you paid for an seo service that actually built you 0 links. Doesn’t sound right does it?

I agree. That’s really a low strategy to put “i agree on someone’s blog” – whoops. I think I just did that…
But really – Does anyone think that automated blog commenting actually works? Any blog with any juice is going to be moderated anyway.
