We all have things we wish Google would do and we post about them on blogs and forums and sometimes Google even pays attention, so here is my lame attempt at adding something to my own Google Wish List.
I love how Google treats wordpress blogs, blogger blogs, and even wordpress.com blogs for the most part, but they do need to improve on one thing.
Blogs that are not being posted to actively should not be able to maintain rankings for their keywords. Just putting up a blog or splog and posting to it once or even once per month should not get you great search engine results but too many times it does.
Some of these one-time post blogs beat listing from blogs that are being posted to daily. It doesn’t happen often but it does happen. The daily blogs usually beat the one-time blogs, but they should beat them all of the time.
So Google, my wish list now contains one more item, blog activity should be a factor. That would go a long way to curb the splog problem at blogger.com so I would think this would benefit Google as well.
