Funny Domain Name Auctions On eBay

Sorry, I was just going through the domain names for sale on ebay and had to bring you some of these GREAT BRANDABLE DOMAIN NAMES they had for sale. Sit back and get a good laugh from some of these domain names.

GroovyHomeDesign.COM - great if you are an interior designer who still uses tie-dyed curtains and flourescent paint!

YouthProofed.com - The seller notes that it is a “MEGA Under Age Drinking Domain Name”. Great . . .

LyKio.com - Seller calls it a “BRANDABLE 5 letter Website Domain name.” As opposed to a non-website domain name? And if I’m going to spend a lot of money to brand a domain name, why would I use your made up names when i can just make one up myself?

1stAlien.com - “PREMIUM ALIEN WEBSITE DOMAIN NAME FOR SALE”. I don’t think the buyer for this domain name has landed yet.

JamieLynnPregnant.com - Oh yeah. This would be a great domain name for like the next 9 months or so. But then again, maybe she will just keep getting pregnant and have 2 more kids before she turns 18.

NFLSpace.COM - Wow! The NFL is expanding to Europe so this forward thinker is getting ready for those football games of the future in places like Mars Stadium.

NoHastlePC.com ~ “AWESOME Sales / Affiliate Domain Name”. Yes for all of those people that spell hassle like that.

facebookrevolt.com - Uh oh. Look out FaceBook! Your days are numbered! The idots are coming! The idiots are coming!

Ebookinstan.com “Great Domain Name For Make Ebook Store” - I just don’t even know what to say about this one.

eBay-Sucks.com - “DOMAIN NAME - No Reserve!!!” Get it now on eBay!

Gambelingvacation.com I guess this one is for Gamb-e-lers.

Then there was an ebook for sale - How To Find an Under-Priced Domain Name on eBay eBook. Oh boy! Gotta have that.

XXXsniper .com = For Ron Jeremy if he is ever feeling postal.

SaveUranus.com - Looking for the same buyer as 1st Alien I guess. I might buy it just so I know it won’t become a porn site. Maybe a proctologist who is an X files fan could buy it. Could also be used as a website forum for prisoners.

Pr3.net - This owuld be the first website we would have to de-optimise enough to keep it a PR3. If it ever becomes a PR4 the whole business plan is shot.

VISUT.COM - would get a lot of visutors.

EggAM.com - This guy got up very very early to register this winner. Should have had his coffee first.

Fegex.com - Wanted to know what meth users do when they stay up for 7 days straight? They register domain names and try to sell them on eBay!

Seriously, be very careful buying domain names on ebay.

Make sure that the domain transfer information is spelled out clearly so you know there are no hidden fees.

Check the spelling of the domain name. Make sure and “i” is not really an “L” and that a “o” is not really a “0″ (zero).

The domain sellers can be pretty tricky when selling you a domain name.

Make sure if a website is supposed to go with it that the files are there for you to download and move to your own hosting company.

Many of these sellers try to sell you hosting after you buy the domain name and the hosting is what they really planned to sell you all along. Or they could have a hidden fee to let you have ftp access to get the files for the website you just bought.

Ask the seller questions before you pay for the domain name. Don’t get taken for a ride.
